Guy recalls his terrifying experience on a 'smart' motorway on Good Morning Britain

A FEW YEARS ago, our ever reliable Land Rover broke down on a stretch of the M25 designated as a smart motorway – which means that there is no hard shoulder. Suffice to say, it was an experience that made me implacably hostile to smart motorways, which are a dumb idea.
